What I'm Up To…

New Studio!

leave a comment »

I am moving my art studio from Steve’s basement to The Building on R Street, Sacramento, upstairs from the Fox & Goose Pub and the Solomon Dubnick Gallery (in the Art Foundry space).   Julie Didion put out a call for someone to share her studio space and I answered.  If you know The Building you will know that her space is primo!  lovely!  light-filled and well located.  I will be there from now to the end of the year.  I will be in the studio working  Saturdays (10:30 a.m. to 3: 30 p.m.  ) and Sundays ( 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. ), so please stop by when you are in the neighborhood.  I will also be working there on days during the week – yet to be determined.  Call ahead if you would like to visit.  The Building, 1021 R Street, Sacramento.

Enjoy the pix below of the spaces and the many other shops in The Building — Rumpelstiltskin Yarn Store (yarnyarnyarn.com), Solomon Dubnick Gallery (sdgallery.com), Tea Cozy (tea-cozy.net), Arareity (arareity.com), and more!  Good reasons for visiting The Building.

And, the artists in their studios in The Building:  Merle Axelrad Serlin, Lisa Fernald Barker, Taylor Gutermute, Anthony Montanino, Brenda Boles, Sally Shapiro, Richard Zbignew Kozikowski, Andy Graham and others.
